Saved by Jesus - Pedro Boesel

I had a terrible crash in the first race of the season. It was a rainy day and our car had a few serious problems. We couldn’t’ see very well. Two cars in front of me had come back to the track and I hit one of the cars at a speed of 167 kilometers per hour. Unfortunately, our friend — the other driver — did not make it out of the crash.

It was very hard for me. In that moment, I never thought I was going to make it either. The crash was very intense and my body was broken. For a brief time, I thought I was going to die. But I just kept thinking of my family, and of God. He gave me the strength to keep myself awake. The medical car came and rescued me.

I’m positive that Jesus saved my life. I had a “J” marked into my face after the crash, almost as if it was a tattoo. I stayed for a week in the hospital and when I left the hospital, the tattoo left my face. Today, I’m 100% recovered.

After that accident, my faith was strengthened. I have no doubt that God is in front of everything; He knows what the best is for each and every one of us on earth. If He gave me this second chance, I’m going to use it to serve God and do my best with His love in my heart.

I’m going to continue to grow and spread God’s Word to everyone I can.
